1.Agreement to these terms

Camdoy is a product developed and operated by 4UIT. These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and 4UIT for your use of the Camdoy platform and website.

By creating an account, accessing the platform or using any Camdoy feature, you agree to these terms. If you are using Camdoy for a law firm or other organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization, and "you" means both you and that organization.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use Camdoy.

2.What Camdoy is, and what it is not

Camdoy is practice management and document preparation software for immigration professionals. It helps organize cases, collect information, prepare documents and forms, track case status and communicate with clients.

Some things Camdoy is not, stated directly because the subject matter makes confusion costly:

  • Camdoy is not a government agency, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Homeland Security or any other government body.
  • Camdoy is not USCIS. Reading case status through an official interface does not make us part of it. We cannot file on your behalf, expedite a case or influence any decision.
  • Camdoy is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation or legal opinions. Using Camdoy does not create an attorney-client relationship with 4UIT.
  • Camdoy does not guarantee any immigration outcome. No feature, score, checklist or draft is a prediction that an application will be approved.

3.Professional responsibility and review

You are responsible for the legal decisions made in the matters you handle in Camdoy, and for the accuracy and completeness of anything you submit to a government agency.

Camdoy produces drafts and working documents, including documents produced with AI assistance. They are starting points. A qualified professional must review and correct them before they are relied on, sent to a client or filed. Automated data extraction, form mapping and generated text can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and form editions and agency requirements change.

If you are an attorney or accredited representative, you remain bound by your own professional and ethical obligations, including competence, confidentiality and supervision. Nothing in Camdoy reduces them.

4.Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use Camdoy.

You are responsible for your account: keeping your credentials confidential, the activity that happens under your account, and the accuracy of your account information. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without authorization.

A firm administrator can invite and remove users and set their roles. If you administer a firm workspace, you are responsible for who you give access to and for the level of access you grant them.

5.Acceptable use

When using Camdoy, you agree not to:

  • Upload or process information you do not have the right to provide, or use Camdoy for a matter in which you are not authorized to act.
  • Use Camdoy to break the law, to deceive a government agency, or to prepare or submit information you know to be false.
  • Attempt to access another firm’s workspace, another user’s account, or any data, system or network you are not authorized to reach.
  • Probe, scan or test the security of the platform without our written permission, or interfere with its normal operation.
  • Copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the platform or its content, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits or access controls, including those of the third-party services Camdoy depends on.
  • Upload malicious code, or use Camdoy to send unlawful, abusive or deceptive messages.

6.Your data and your clients’ data

The information and documents you put into Camdoy remain yours. We do not claim ownership of your case files, your client records or your documents.

You grant us the permission we need to operate the platform for you: to host, store, process, transmit, back up and display that information, and to send it to the service providers that make a feature work, including AI providers where you use an AI feature. Our Privacy Policy explains what that involves.

You are responsible for having the right to provide the information you upload, including any consent your own clients must give.

7.AI features

Camdoy includes features that use artificial intelligence to read documents, extract data, map form fields and generate draft text. Using them sends the content those features need to an AI service provider, as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI output is generated by software and is not reviewed by a lawyer before it reaches you. It may contain errors, omissions or language unsuitable for a filing. You must review it. Do not treat it as a finished document, and do not file it without professional review.

8.Third-party services and availability

Camdoy depends on third-party services, including cloud hosting, AI providers, payment processing, email delivery and government interfaces such as USCIS case status.

Those services can be slow, change their behavior, or become unavailable, and that is outside our control. Government interfaces in particular can return errors or go down for periods we cannot predict. When that happens, a feature that depends on the service may be delayed or temporarily unavailable. We are not responsible for a third party’s unavailability, although we work to limit its impact and to retry when appropriate.

Case status information comes from the government and is shown as received. It can lag behind the actual state of a case, and it is not a substitute for official notices you receive.

9.Subscriptions, fees and payments

Access to Camdoy may be offered on a trial, a subscription plan, or another arrangement agreed with you. The features, limits and price that apply are the ones presented to you when you sign up or agreed in writing.

Subscription fees are billed in advance for the applicable period through our payment processor, and recurring plans renew automatically until cancelled. Taxes may be added where they apply. You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file.

Camdoy also lets firms collect payments from their own clients through the platform. Those amounts are agreed between the firm and its client, and the firm is responsible for the services behind them. Where the platform retains a processing fee on such a payment, that fee is disclosed to the firm before it accepts the applicable processing terms.

If a payment fails or is overdue, we may suspend access until it is resolved. Refunds are handled as required by law and under the terms of the plan you purchased.

10.Our intellectual property

Camdoy, including the platform, its software, design, text, templates and the Camdoy name and logo, belongs to 4UIT or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Camdoy while your account is active and in line with these terms. We do not transfer any other right. Feedback you choose to send us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.

11.Suspension and termination

You can stop using Camdoy at any time, and you can ask us to close your account by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, if an account is used unlawfully or in a way that puts the platform or other users at risk, if fees go unpaid, or if we are legally required to.

When an account closes, access to the platform ends. We handle the data that remains as described in our Privacy Policy, including your right to request deletion. Export your working documents before closing an account, because access to the platform is how you reach them.

12.Disclaimers

Camdoy is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we do not make warranties that the platform will be uninterrupted, error free or secure, that it will meet every requirement you have, or that any content, extraction or draft it produces will be accurate or complete.

This is particularly important for immigration work. Form editions, agency requirements, fees and procedures change, and a feature can be out of date before we update it. Verify current requirements with the responsible agency or qualified counsel.

13.Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, 4UIT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or the cost of substitute services, arising from your use of or inability to use Camdoy.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Camdoy is limited to the amount you paid us for the platform in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and our legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.

When a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give notice before it takes effect, by email or in the product. Continuing to use Camdoy after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the platform and contact us to close your account.

15.Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it. It forms part of your agreement with us.
